A whole food plant-based diet means that we consume a wide variety of wholesome, natural, plant-based foods that are not  - or very minimally - processed. It is therefore based on unrefined, minimally processed foods, which include fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, nuts and seeds, and avoids meat, dairy products, and processed foods such as white flour, refined sugars, and oils.

The positive health effects of a whole food plant-based diet have been proven by many clinical and research studies.

The China Study, led by Dr. T. Colin Campbell, which is the world's largest and most comprehensive nutrition study ever conducted, clearly shows the relationship between nutrition and the most common diseases - heart disease, obesity, diabetes, cancer, and autoimmune diseases. People who consume predominantly plant-based foods are healthier, live longer on average, and suffer from fewer chronic illnesses than those who regularly consume meat, and dairy products.

A whole food plant-based diet has been scientifically proven to be extremely effective in preventing or even reversing chronic diseases - type 2 diabetes, insulin resistance, cardiovascular disease, and certain cancers -  reducing cholesterol and high blood pressure, and achieving ideal body weight.

Why is a whole food plant-based diet so effective?

Our health is determined by the nutrient density of our diet. The more essential nutrients we eat, the healthier we will be. A low-fat whole food plant-based diet contains the most vitamins, antioxidants, minerals, fiber, water, etc., that are all vital to our health, yet in many cases, we consume far fewer of them than needed. Natural plant-based foods all contain these nutrients in abundance, while animal and refined foods do not contain them at all, or only in very minimal amounts.

Try the whole food plant-based diet now and experience it's health benefits yourself.
